Piano Recitals

The truth is that piano has taken over our lives. There's not at day that we wake up without planning how we will squeeze piano practice into our oftentimes busy day. We even plan our vacations around minimizing missed piano practices and lessons! When the recital comes and we hear them perform, we know it is well worth the sacrifice.

Cam started taking piano lessons at the age of three, and started with his current teacher, Amanda Nixon (accompanying him in the clip below), at the age of five. In this clip he is playing a concerto that he auditioned with for several youth symphonies in the area, receiving a few honorable mentions.

Incredible! Bob and I got Cedric (Bob's daughter Sarah's 16 month old) a little upright for Christmas. He looks so stinkin' cute when he plays with it. Cam and Mia are both fortunate that you get them to and from lessons and that Miles knows how to play to keep them on top of their assignments. Perhaps someday you will have the "Four Pitchers."

I have no words. It is hard to believe that is the same Cameron I know...Where does he have the time to learn to do all that? And it says alot about you, Kate and Miles. The sacrifice and hard work comes from you as well.

I am so touched to watch Cameron play that I well up with emotion. He is an amazingly gifted child and you are really blessed to have the opportunity to let him develop his talents. I know it is a sacrifice to put so much time into letting him pursue this. I just love Cameron.

I didn't realize that you had a family blog. That is great. It is a great way to keep up on how everyone is doing! Take care. Kara
